Doggie Daycare

Daycare at Stone Chapel

At Stone Chapel, doggie daycare isn’t about putting as many dogs as possible into one big playgroup. We intentionally keep our daycare manageable so our team can get to know the dogs in our care and create groups based on size, temperament, energy level, and play style.

Some dogs love an energetic group of friends. Others are happiest with a few familiar buddies, a quieter group, or even a yard of their own. We don’t expect every dog to enjoy daycare in exactly the same way.

Our goal is to find the experience that works best for the individual dog.

Thoughtful Introductions & Playgroups

New dogs are introduced to daycare slowly and thoughtfully. Two team members begin with a calm, well-established daycare dog, with both dogs on leash. If everyone is comfortable, we’ll gradually introduce another compatible dog before moving into a larger group.

We watch body language closely throughout the process, and never force an interaction simply because a dog came for daycare. Sometimes a different playmate is all that’s needed. Other times, a dog may tell us that group play simply isn’t for them-and we listen.

With ten separate play yards, we have the flexibility to create groups around the dogs in our care each day. Our yards have even earned names over the years-Tiny Town, Best Buddies, Rowdy Rebels, Reserved Rangers, Mighty Minions, Fast & Furious, and our Lone Ranger yards for dogs who are the happiest with some space of their own.

Daycare Isn’t Required for Boarding

Not every dog enjoys group play, and that’s perfectly okay. Dogs who aren’t comfortable in daycare can still board with us and enjoy individual outdoor time and care tailored to their needs. If we determine that group play isn’t the right fit for your dog, we’ll talk with you about what we’ve observed and the options that may work better.

A Routine That Works for You

Daycare is available by reservation Monday through Friday. Many of our regular guests have standing reservations for the same day or days each week, giving families a predictable schedule while helping our team plan consistent, thoughtful playgroups.

Need daycare only occasionally? That’s perfectly fine, too. Reservations can be made as needed, subject to availability.

Because we intentionally keep our daycare attendance manageable, reservations help us maintain the group sizes and level of attention that are important to our daycare program.

Daycare Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
